Ecobank to reward customers in 'Win Big' promo

ECOBANK Nigeria has unveiled a promotion to reward its existing and new customers who actively operate their Ecobank current and savings accounts.Specifically, the promotion, which starts this month, will run through December 2012. The 'Win Big with Ecobank' promo gives each customer the opportunity to own new cars at each of four monthly draws and a grand prize of a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) at the grand draw.New customers who open an account with a minimum of N20,000 will be entitled to an instant gift and also qualify for the monthly draw if they maintain the deposit for a 30-day period.Existing customers who increase their balance by N20,000 will qualify for the draw and multiples of N20,000 give the customer more chance of winning.To be eligible for the grand prize, a customer is expected to maintain a minimum balance of N20,000 for four months to give a total of N80,000 and multiple entries of N80,000 is permissible.In a press statement made available to The Guardian at the weekend, the bank's Executive Director, Domestic Bank, Lagos and South West, Kingsley Aigbokhaevbo, said Ecobank is poised to reward its loyal customers, even as it offers them the best of banking services.'Ecobank will continue to contribute significantly to the growth of the Nigerian economy by providing our retail and wholesale customers with convenient, accessible and reliable financial products and services.'Ecobank, with the largest banking network in Africa, provides the best platform to provide economic empowerment to Africans hence our determination to build scale in Nigeria through products and services that provide convenience and value'.He emphasised that the bank will continue to expand its product portfolio which currently includes current accounts, savings accounts, cards, remittances, consumer finance, loans and advances, investment banking, asset management and regional and international trade amongst others.Known as the Pan African bank, Ecobank's offering currently runs in 32 African countries where it is present, ensuring that all its customers across the continent are given the same experience, based on the 'Ecobank One Bank' value proposition.
