LEAGUE UPDATE: WAFU ticket for 3SC, Enyimba

IF information reaching League Update is anything to go by, both Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan and Enyimba FC of Aba have much to play for in their final fixtures for the 2011/12 season.Going into Week 38 matches with 55 points each, the duo are already out of contention for both the league shield and continental ticket.However, there could still be something good on ground for either side should they finish fourth on the log.League Update gathered yesterday that a West African Football Union (WAFU) Cup ticket may be in the offing for the fourth placed team at the end of the season which comes to a climax this Friday.Enyimba looks the surest side to nick the ticket as the Peoples Elephants play their last game at home against Wikki Tourists of Bauchi which has nothing at stake either win or lose.For 3SC, it would be a bit difficult playing against Kwara United in Ilorin with the Afonja Warriors needing an outright win to escape demotion from the elite league.Should the sub-regional competition be staged, the lucky side will join Prime FC, the 2012 Fedaration Cup third placed side to hoist Nigeria's flag.
