Benin traditional ruler tasks Enigie, Odionwere on peace, harmony

The Benin traditional ruler, Omo N'Oba Erediauwa, has advised Enigie, Odionweres and community leaders in Edo State to ensure the prevalent of peace and harmony in their various domains.Omo N'Oba Erediauwa gave the advice when the Odionwere, elders and members of Eguaviaen Development Association paid him a thank-you-visit in his palace in Benin City, the state capital, recently.According to the Benin monarch, peace is a pre-requisite to progress and development, saying Benin kingdom cherished peace, unity and respect for lawful authorities.The Odionwere and elders of Eguaviaen community presented a thank-you-letter to the Oba of Benin for recognising the community and for the installation of Pa David Osamonyi Iserhienrhien as the Odionwere of the community early in the year.This came as the Odionwere, Pa David Iserhienrhien and the Chairman Board of Trustees of the community, Mr Austine Orhion Aimtuwu and the Elders Council, named the chairman and members of the Eguaviaen Community Development Association.The members included Mr. Felix Iguma Osazuwa (chairman), Felix Osaghaede (publicity secretary) and Evbayiro Lawson (legal adviser).
