Eagles' performance against Lone Stars excites ambassado

NIGERIA'S Ambassador to Liberia, Chigozie Nnadozie, was a happy woman over the weekend, as she could not hide her excitement with the result of the game that ended 2-2.The lady did everything possible to ensure that Nigerians in Monrovia on the day their country met Liberia in a Nations Cup qualifier had a good time in the country.She told Nigerians at a reception she held for the Super Eagles at the Golden Gate Hotel over the weekend that she was totally satisfied with the performance of the Super Eagles, which she was sure would also excite President Goodluck Jonathan.'I am sure that by the return leg in Calabar, our team will win handsomely and I hope to be there to help cheer the team to victory,' she enthused.Nnadozie had accompanied Liberian President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, to Kaduna for the NDA graduation, but she returned early enough to witness some moments of the game.Meanwhile, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Aminu Maigari, has thanked the ambassador and all Nigerians, who came to watch the game, for supporting the Eagles, and assured that the team would not rest on its oars until it picks the Nations Cup ticket in October.
