Eagles will beat Lone Star in Calabar -Uche Kalu

SUPER Eagles star, Uche Kalu has said that the Lone Star of Liberia will not escape defeat in the second leg of the Nations Cup qualifiers next month in Calabar.Caykur Rizespor striker, said the players know that victory is a must for Nigeria hence, the team is ready to give all for the important encounter."I was on the bench for the Super Eagles all through the game in Monrovia and because I sat on the bench I saw how the Liberians played."I am optimistic that we are going to win that game in Calabar and qualify for the Nations Cup in South Africa."I am not underrating the Liberians. They have a good side and can play good football. But we certainly have a better team in all ramifications", Uche said.Speaking further, the former Enyimba player said; "Super Eagles players know what is at stake and cannot allow this opportunity to pass us by. The fact that we did not attend the last Nations Cup in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon is the tonic that will propel us in this last game against Liberia."We can do it in Calabar and I am sure every player will be ready in October," Kalu said.The second leg comes up on the 13th of next month.
