Oyo NAWOJ holds election today

THE general election into the executive committee of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Oyo State council, will be held today.In a release made available to the Nigerian Tribune, accreditation of voters will be held between 8.00 a.m and 10.00 a.m, while voting exercise begins at 10.00 a.m and ends at 2.00 p.mCandidates vying for the post of the chairperson of the association are Adekitan Adeagbo of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS) and Morenike Tony Esan of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).Alolade Ganiyu of the African Newspapers of Nigeria (ANN) Plc, publishers of the Tribune titles, will be vying for the post of treasurer, while Ajoke Oyedeji, also FRCN, will be contesting for the post of the financial secretary.According to the release, swearing-in of the new executive members will be held immediately after the election.
