There is guaranteed to be a first-time winner of the Indian Premier League in 2016 after Kolkata Knight Riders were knocked out of the tournament by Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator on Wednesday.The Hyderabad outfit now face off against Gujarat Lions on Friday in Qualifier 2 as they look to earn a spot in Sunday's final against in-form Royal Challengers Bangalore.Gujarat, a new franchise this year, have their second bite at the cherry as they look to claim a final place having lost by four wickets to RCB in Qualifier 1 on Tuesday.Read on for a full preview of what is likely to be a tense and exciting clash between GL and SH in Delhi, along with live streaming information, predictions for the final two matches of the tournament and an updated schedule.Clickherefor the full tournament schedule. Watch all matches live on Sky Sports and live stream viaSky Go(UK only).Gujarat Lions vs. Sunrisers HyderabadHaving set the early pace in IPL 9, Sunrisers lost their last two matches in the league stage and ended up finishing outside the top two.As a result, they were forced into an all-or-nothing match with KKR in order to stay in the tournament, and they came through by 22 runs, brilliantly defending what looked to be a below-par total of 162, per cricket commentator Ayaz Memon:Bhuvneshwar Kumar's bowling performance was the key contribution as he took three wickets for just 19 runs in his four-over spell, and the Indian seamer's brilliant death bowling could prove vital if Sunrisers are to go all the way this year.He did not start the tournament in the best of form, but he has now turned things around in impressive fashion and is currently the leading wicket-taker of the season, per former Indian Women's captain Anjum Chopra:Given the strength of Gujarat's batting lineup, Kumar and every other Hyderabad bowlerBarinder Sran, Deepak Hooda, Mustafizur Rahman,Moises Henriqueswill need to be in top form if they are to reach the final.In the Lions' defeat to RCB, Gujarat still managed to post 158 despite Aaron Finch, Brendon McCullum and Suresh Raina falling for six runs combined.Dwayne Smith's 41-ball 73 was the key knock at five in the order as he outscored his side's immense top foureven with Dinesh Karthik getting a handy 26, per Broken Cricket:If Gujarat's batting core can click in Delhi, they will be difficult to stop, but Hyderbad have a good enough bowling attack to restrict the Lions, and consistency in line and length will be vital.Should the Sunrisers not be able to shackle GL, though, they also have more than enough quality in the batting lineup to chase down a big scoresee skipper David Warner, Shikhar Dhawan, Hooda and Yuvraj Singh.Both sides have talent throughout their sides and, although GL finished atop the standings in the league stage, two of their five defeats came against SH.Momentum could be a key, with Gujarat entering Friday's match on the back of a loss, while Sunrisers could get a boost from their defeat of KKR.An all-round team performance will be needed for either side to prevail and reach the final, and Sunrisers Hyderabad look to just have the edge ahead of the clash.
