3SC to drop eight players

IN a bid to have a successful campaign next season, the management of Shooting Stars Sports Club is set to carry out a minor reshuffling of the team.The Oluyole Warriors started the just concluded 2011/12 season on an umimpressive note but picked up later to finish in good form.This was after coach Festus Allen was shown the exit door while few players were recruited to boost the team.However, in order to avoid a slow start in the new season, the manaagement has decided to do away with some players whose services are no more needed.A competent source revealed to League Update that eight players, mostly old ones have already been pencilled down to be dropped.The source also hinted that the management was also working to secure some players who joined the team on loan on a permanent deal.The Ibadan soccer lords finished 13th on the log with 49 points no thanks to the deduction of six points the team got from Ocean Boys who were expelled from the league for running foul of the rule.
