NFF unsure of friendly for Eagles

NIGERIA'S Super Eagles are not expected to play any international friendly before their 2013 Afcon qualifying against their Liberian counterparts in October.Spokesman of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ademola Olajire, said there is a doubt concerning playing a warm-up game in between the game with the Lone Star."A friendly match for the Super Eagles before the game against Liberia is doubtful right now. The possibility of that is quite remote right now. But with or without a friendly the federation trusts that the team is ready for the game," said Olajire.Nigeria will play hosts to Liberia in a return leg of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualification in Calabar on October 14 after the reverse game ended 2-2 in Monrovia earlier in September.The Lone Star of Liberia, unlike their Nigerian counterparts, played an international friendly within days of holding the Super Eagles to a 2-2 draw inside the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium in Monrovia.The Liberians stunned the Black Stars of Ghana 2-0 in a friendly.
