FIFA unveils Flamingoes' World Cup list

FEDERATION of International Football Association (FIFA) has released the official team list of counties that will contest in the forthcoming FIFA Women U-17 World Cup billed to commence on September 22 in Azerbaijan.The list also includes that of the Flamingoes of Nigeria who will be hoisting Africa's flag at the championship.The Nigerian team, under the tutelage of Peter Dedevbo is made of three goalkeepers, six defenders, six midfielders as well as six strikers.The golies are Gift Andy with jersy number 1, Sandra Chichi (12) and Rita Obeni (21).Making up the defence line are ; Sarah Nnodim (2), Hauwa Abdulahi (3), Ugochi Emenyayo (5), Victoria Aidelomon (15), Iheoma Amos (17) and Ebere Okoye (18), In the midfield are, Oluchi Ofoegbu (4), Ihuoma Onyebuchi (6), Chidima Edeji (7), Joy Bokiki (8), Tessy Biahwo (10) and Ehuemunor Ijeh (20).Strikers registered for the mundial include, Aminat Yakubu (9), Yetunde Adeboyejo (11), Mabel Effiom (13), Halimatu Ayinde (14), Jinroro Idike (16) as well as Chinwendu Ihezuo (19).
