You are disturbed, PDP tells Osun ACN boss

Osun Central senatorial district of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described the allegation by the leadership of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) that Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola brought thugs to the probe panel set up by Governor Rauf Aregbesola to probe contract awards between 2003 and 2010 as, 'spillover of huge shame ACN and its governor suffered' on the day Prince Oyinlola appeared before the panel.In a statement issued on Tuesday by the senatorial district chairman of the PDP, Reverend Bunmi Jenyo, the PDP likened the statement of Elder Lowo Adebiyi, the ACN state chairman, to 'bleat of a stubborn he-goat that met its waterloo in the house of a brave man.'The party said Adebiyi and his cohorts in ACN were so disturbed for seeing Prince Oyinlola encircled with mammoth crowd, which they might not have been initially thought of.Jenyo also described Adebiyi as a mere noisemaker that should not be taken seriously for describing the calibre of politicians that were present at the conference hall of the panel as thugs.'What happened at the panel was evidence that there is no way PDP can be compared with the die-hard ACN-led government in the state. Only a blind person like Lowo will see the people at that panel as thugs when, of course, those people were politicians with high calibre.'Can Lowo refer to the likes of Alhaji Tajudeen Oladipo, former vice chairman, PDP South-West; Alhaji Fatai Akinbade, former SSG; Honourable Adejare Bello, former speaker, former commissioners in the state, all the local government chairmen and ward chairmen, as thugs' It is a high level of mediocrity that is disturbing the ACN chairman in the state and he should be ignored, as people of Osun State have known the truth,' Jenyo said.
