Re: The politics of power sector reform

We in the Presidential Task Force on Power (PTFP) have read with interest a piece titled The Politics of Power Sector Reform published under the name of Sokari Pepple in BusinessDay of September 18, 2012. It is hard to ignore what seems a well-intended effort by the piece to advise President Goodluck Jonathan on the way forward in the effort of his administration to deliver reliable power to the Nigerian people. We must also note that the piece made a good effort to gain credibility and prove its integrity of purpose to its would-be readers by its extensive reference to developments in the power sector and its quasi-anecdotal style.
