PDP commends Oyinlola over Osun contract review

Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed the need for those in positions of authority to draw useful lessons from the appearance of the former governor of the state, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, at the Contract Review Commission put in place by the Rauf Aregbesola-led administration.The PDP chairman, Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa, in a release made available to the Nigerian Tribune on Monday, said that Governor Aregbesola himself should put it at the back of his mind that he would, one day, come and testify in the public court for all his actions and, therefore, must tread with caution.While giving kudos to Oyinlola for being transparent and sincere while administering the state, Olaoluwa said his appearance before Professor Odekunle's panel to defend himself on the allegation against him was an indication that he was a true democrat.'His appearance is an indication that whether before God or man, our action and inaction would be tabled for questioning one day, but what I will tell you on Oyinlola's matter is that the development is a thing of joy for the PDP that he made himself available because he had the avenue to rubbish all his false accusers.'The PDP chairman advised the present administration in the state to tap from his humility and straightforwardness, pointing out that Oyinlola's composure before the commission was a pointer to the fact that he was a true Yoruba endowedwith native intelligence.
