Fayose urges unity in Ekiti PDP

FORMER governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has pleaded with members of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State to unite in order to wrestle power from Governor Kayode Fayemi in 2014.He also appealed to them to imbibe the spirit of forgiveness even as he begged those he might have offended in the party to forgive him.Fayose told PDP members who thronged Afao Ekiti, his country home, to attend a reception organized for him over his re-entry into the PDP,having been granted a waiver by the Alhaji Bamanga Tukur-led NationalWorking Committee of the party, to be magnanimous enough to forget the past and unite for the party to bounce back to reckoning.The former governor, who praised President Goodluck Jonathan, the PDP national and zonal leaders , as well as the state party apparatus forgranting him waiver for re-entry into PDP, urged PDP members to forget internal bickering and start mobilising from the grassroots ahead of 2014.
