Tee A' I'm a Cologne freak

Babatunde Adewale, popularly known as Tee A, is one of the most resourceful and respected comedian in Nigeria. The University of Lagos graduate has over the years built a career as an international entertainer, performing in private engagements, corporate events, high-profile concerts and his solo show, Live & Naked which holds in Lagos, London and the US as well as a TV comedy talkshow, Tyme Out With Tee A. He shares his 'firsts' with DANIEL ANAZIA.First choice fashion pieceMy perfumes; I'm a collector of perfumes. I love Cologne for men and can't do without it. I like trying out new fragrances and sometimes I purposely don't finish them because I want to keep the smell.First thing you consider when dressing upI dress for comfort. So, fashion for me is being comfortable in the colours, cut and what I am wearing. I'm not a designer freak, but I love experimenting and being smart in my wears. What's the first thing that attracts or turns you off in people'I don't think anything turns me off in people considering the kind of job that I do. I'm people's person as I on daily basis have interaction with them. First favourite foodThat's cooked beans. It could be mixed with anything ' rice, yam or corn (Adalu). First crazy adventureTraveling alone from Enugu to Port Harcourt by road at night for an event. Our flight (Okada Air) stopped over at Enugu airport due to technical reasons and I had to continue the journey to the Garden City that night by road. It was during the period of Otokoto; it's something I won't dare again. First time on board an airplaneIt was on a flight to Port Harcourt for a golf event. I can't remember the year, but I know I was very young then. First time you travelled out of NigeriaThat was to Cotonou, Benin Republic. It was in company of my friends from school then. First time on stageHaving been in business for 15 years, I can't really remember my first show or my first time on stage. I have been performing right from my secondary school days through the university. First solo show Live & Naked With Tee A, 2000. The success of the event got me an invitation to perform at the Caribbean Expo and the Hackney Empire Theatre, UK in 2001. First memorable award It was from my faculty association ' Faculty of Arts Students Association (FASA) ' as Clown of the Campus. Also, there is Teen Choice Award, nominated and voted by the teens as Favourite Celebrity through radio call-in programme and essays that are touching, which I have kept in my archives.
