Mikel was not forced on me - Keshi

SUPER Eagles gaffer, Stephen Keshi says the return of Chelsea midfielder, John Mikel Obi, is a personal decision made for football reason.The former Togo coach said minutes after defending the list before the technical committee in Abuja, that the national team was only for players that have showed demonstrable intent to play for the Eagles.''I am not here to shut any player out of the Eagles especially if you are commanding a regular shirt in your club.''He revealed that contrary to rumours making the round, he was not arm-twisted to invite Mikel Obi to be part of the team.Keshi revealed further that the strength of his team was still being drawn from the home based, and that the seeming bogus list from both sides is being informed by the fear of the unforeseen contigency of injury.The foreign based players according to the Eagles manager are expected to report to camp on October 8 at the Bolton White camp in Abuja while the home based players will kick-start the camp on September 30.
