Cavaliers vs. Warriors Game 7 TV Schedule, Live Stream Guide for 2016 NBA Finals

Published by Bleacher Report on Sat, 18 Jun 2016

History awaits the winner of the 2016 NBA Finals' Game 7 between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors on Sunday.History won't dwell much on the fact Stephen Curry and the Warriors have coughed up a 3-1 advantage after storming from behind the same margin in the Western Conference Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunderprovided they hoist the Larry O'Brien Trophy.Likewise, those in charge of the narrative will forgive LeBron James and the Cavaliers for falling into the 3-1 hole despite rolling through the entire Eastern Conference in 14 games, two off a full sweep, so long as they pull off the finale to their jaw-dropping comeback. Here's a look at everything to know about the game with everything swinging in the balance.2016 NBA Finals Game 7When: Sunday at 8 p.m. ETWhere: Oracle Arena, Oakland, CaliforniaTV: ABCLive Stream: ESPN PlayerGame 7 PreviewHow did the Finals get here'Easy: Golden State rode the momentum of the comeback against the Thunder into two dominant victories against the Cavaliers, even Cleveland seeming to buy into the hype despite entering the series well rested.Only for so long, though.Cleveland rallied to take Game 3, had a slight hiccup in the fourth and coasted to 112-97 and 115-101 victories over the past two games.Make no mistake, Cleveland hasn't changed much of anything, either. The longer the series has worn on, though, the more the Cavaliers have become more dynamic on defense and the more the duel between James and Draymond Green has gone to the King. That is underselling it a bit, as a note by ESPN Stats & Info would suggest:James desperate not to let his team fall into a 3-0 hole in Game 3' A smooth 32 points. James fearing elimination over the past two games' Just 41 points in each contest. This isn't to suggest James has been alonenot with Kyrie Irving posting 30 or more points in three of the six games so far. In Game 6, Irving posted 23 while Tristan Thompson scored 15 and J.R. Smith added 14.Don't be fooled, thoughGame 7 is James' show."He's playing great," Curry said, according to ESPN.com's J.A. Adande. "He's doing things that are game-changing and helping his team win. He's been more aggressive shooting the ball."The Warriors have offered the Cavaliers plenty of help thus far. The bench that scored 45 points in Game 1' Gone. Green missed Game 5 at home, a game that probably should have ended the series.Game 6' The Warriors got outscored 31-11 in the first frame, an extension of Game 5, during which the team could only muster 36 points in the second half. Forget fouls, social media and thrown mouthpieces, the Warriors simply haven't been their usual selves, with Curry going 8-of-20 from the field and Klay Thompson 9-of-21 in the most recent contest. Not that the 73-win Warriors, defending champions, sound ready to let the collapse continue."So, yeah, it's frustrating," Curry said, according to NBA.com'sFranBlinebury."But the work we've put in and the opportunity we've given ourselves with a Game 7 to win The Finals at home, you've got to be excited about that, regardless of how these two games went."There's no easy way to tell which direction Game 7 will go, which is the beauty of it. Though the series is a rematch and looked boring at first, it has morphed into something special. One final test awaits both sides, the eventual winner unquestionably deserving of the consequent accolades.PredictionDespite the recent outcomes, Las Vegas expects the Warriors to come out ahead by five points, according to Odds Shark. It's an interesting stance and presumes the Warriors will pull out of their shooting slump. Likewise, it suggests either James will cool on the road in an elimination game, get gassed or the rejuvenated shooting will counter him.In a Game 7, with all possible chess pieces revealed and moved to their full extent, the contest usually comes down to one factor: shooting. It's easy, then, to side with Las Vegas here. The 73-win Warriors are returning home, and if one had to bank on the best shooting performance of the night, it'd be Curry and the home team as opposed to the Cavaliers, a team that has already given everything just to force this contest.Barring an epic contribution from someone around him, the globe has already seen James struggle to produce a win when Curry, Thompson and crew post an epic shooting night. After winning 16 more games than the Cavaliers in the regular season and knowing a thing or two about how to win a Game 7, not to mention a title, the Warriors won't have an off shooting night Sunday.Prediction: Warriors 118, Cavaliers 110All stats and info via ESPN.com unless otherwise specified.
