The Stars For Christ reality TV show to hit airwave soon

LOVERS of reality show will soon have course to stay glued to their TV set, as a gospel reality show will hit the airwaves. The reality show, Stars for Christ, an initiative of Dove Media in collaboration with Stars for Christ Development Initiative, was prompted to celebrate Christ in the youth of the world and grooming, training, and polishing them within the confine of the Christiandom.Poised at identifying and empowering the raw talent in the Christian Youth globally, through music and vast knowledge of the Bible, the show promises to encourage them showcase their talents in a positive environment, and adding colour to life and livingBilled to take off by November 13, in Lagos starting with an audition, the train of the audition will move to Abuja, Port Harcourt, and finally to Enugu.Speaking at the press briefing to kick off the campaign, the convener of show, Patrick Abraham, maintained that the reality television show is not novel by any means, with a glut of similar shows already a success, adding that the uniqueness of Stars For Christis the creation of real life applications of the gospel of Jesus Christ.'Built upon the vehicles of gospel music, education and entertainment, the initiative is exclusively structured to discover the most gifted faith-based youth contestants, from age bracket 18 to 35, youths to be precise, in a way they can easily and excitingly relate to create an exciting alternative platform to spread the gospel to the youth and constructively engage them through the platform of alternative Christian rather than the similar secular competitions which presently holds sway globally'.Notable gospel artists including Panam Percy Paul, Bouqui, Flo, Bukola Bekes have been penciled down as judges, music instructors and coaches for the programme.Also, there will be special celebrity judge appearances by artistes such as Cobhams, Lara George, Tosin Martins, Kenny K'Ore, Tim Godfrey, and a host of others.'Apart from serving as judges, these artists would groom, mentor and coach the contestants through various stages of the competition.'To be hosted by Ndifreke Umoh, known as Freke and Nikki Laoye. Freke is an artiste cum comedian who has cut his teeth in the entertainment and lifestyle industry in Nigeria.
