More than 80 percent of Instagram users are outside the United States.Instagram, which was acquired by Facebook in 2012, is now seen as a growth engine for Facebook, which has some 1.6 billion users around the world. The social media site has also been ramping up its advertising efforts, which could bring in more revenues for Facebook.According to the research firm eMarketer, Instagram will pull in $1.53 billion in worldwide mobile ad revenue in 2016, a jump of 144 percent over last year.Woman gang raped in AbakalikiA 45-year-old woman was on Sunday gang-raped and tortured by gunmen in Abakaliki. The victim said that a group of armed men numbering about five, forcefully pulled her from the commercial tricycle (Keke) which she boarded.According to her, the gunmen subsequently forced her into the Keke they boarded and drove-off alongside two motorcycles they hired.'They took me to a swampy bush behind the San Diego Hotel, Kpirikpiri, Abakaliki, where they gang-raped, tortured and abandoned me thinking I was dead.'A good Samaritan came to my rescue and informed the police who took me to a hospital where I was placed on intensive medication,' she said. She said the attack was premeditated, alleging that the gunmen might had been hired by her estranged husband who hailed from Enugu.'I reported him at the Family Law Centre,Abakaliki, over his incessant assault and inhuman treatment which causes me deep physical and emotional trauma.'During the last sitting of the Centre's court, he boasted that my case with him will end when I am 'eliminated'.The Public Relations Officer of the Ebonyi Police Command , DSP George Okafor, who confirmed the story, assured that the command would get to the root of the matter.'No arrest has been made so far on the issue, as we are currently concentrating on saving the woman's life.'Investigations into the matter will, however, be pursued to its logical conclusion, to apprehend and prosecute the culprits,' he said.Man rapes 7-year-old inside mosque during morning prayersA 28-year-old man, Modiu Diallo, was on Monday arraigned in a Surulere Magistrates' Court, Lagos for allegedly raping a 7-year-old girl in a mosque. The accused with no fixed address is facing a three-count charge bordering on rape.Sgt. But this is not the end. More has yet to come. Our mission to cripple the economy of the Nigerian nation will not stop until the Nigerian government is ready to sit on a roundtable to dialogue and to restructure the Nigeria.'We received calls from prominent leaders like Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Mrs. Ankio Briggs, Chief E. K. Clark and especially King Alfred Diete Spiff calling on the freedom fighters to abort their mission to declare Niger Delta Republic.'Unless that, we will not stop until Nigeria becomes a zero economy. We are also saying this for the benefit of President Muhammadu Buhari and Nigerian government to stop wasting their time with those greedy fellows that call themselves MEND because nothing good will come out of them rather than sabotage.'Everything they are saying, not even one will be accomplished. We will never agree with anything they say and henceforth MEND should watch their back because we have tolerated them for a very long time.'Enough is enough, since they want to set confusion in the Niger Delta we will start from them.
