Publishers organic reach per Facebook post dropped by 52% during the first half of 2016, according to research from SocialFlowreportedby MarketingLand. However, that decline may not be due to an overall decline in reachwhich would suggest that referrals to publishers would dropbut rather that publishers are posting more content to the site than ever before. In that case, if reach remains steadyand thus Facebook's referral share remains unchangedbut total number of posts increases, then the average reach per post would drop.To receive stories like this one directly to your inbox every morning, sign up for the Digital Media Briefing newsletter.Click here to learn more about how you can gain risk-free access today.Join the conversation about this story
