Iwuanyanwu, Bode George, Ekweremadu, Peter Obi, Umahi At South-East PDP Meeting Today

His Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State at the Zonal Executive Committee meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), South East Zone which took place in Enugu. Also in attendance were the Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Engr. David Umahi, the Deputy President of the Senate, Sen. Ike Ekweremadu,Sent. Ben Obi, member of the Party's Board of Trustees, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, other members of the National Assembly from the zone, former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, among others. The Chairmanship Aspirant of the Party in the forthcoming National Convention, Chief Olabode Ibiyinka George was also present at the meeting apparently to address the South-East delegates.At the meeting,PDP South East passed a vote of confidence for the Governors of the zone elected on the platform of the oarty for regular payment of workers' salaries and provision of infrastructural development in their various states in spite of the current economic crunch in the country.
