Ondo Muslims insist on producing Mimikos successor

Muslim faithful in Ondo State, on Monday, declared their intention to have one of their own elected as the next governor of the state. The Muslims under the auspice of Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), decried their marginalisation in the politics of the state. Ondo State chairman of the NSCIA, Imam Habibullah Akinpelumi, said at a press conference in Akure, that more than 1.5 million Muslims with over 500, 000 eligible voters were victims of political marginalisation in the state.
