Mother of 4 and Her Neighbour Brutalise Housemaid With Hot Iron (Graphic photos)

The Lagos state police command recently arrested a certainFatima Williams, and her neighbour, Waliu Yusuf for allegedly brutalising a 16-year-old housemaidwith a hot iron and electric cables.According to PUNCH,the victim identified as Kemi was brought from Cotonou to workwith Fatima Williams as a housemaid. She was allegedly tortured last week Thursday by the suspect for not sweeping hercompound located onAllen avenue, Lagos. Kemi recounted the incident to PUNCH, read her below:'On that day, Alhaja instructed me to sweep the compound. She also asked me to clean the windows and wash some clothes.I started with the washing and she went out. When she returned, she was angry that I had not swept the compound. Then she called the man (Waliu Yusuf) to beat me up.'The suspectand mother of four admitted that shetoldYusuf to beat the victim, adding that the housemaid's stubbornness had increased her blood pressure. She also accused the girl of stealing from her and stated that shecouldn't handle her rudeness and behaviour anymore.Meanwhile, Waliu Yusuf stated that he only wanted to scarethe victim with the iron when it injured her.The suspects were arrestedand paraded at the Ikeja Police Division. Meanwhile thevictim wastakento the Police Cottage Hospital, Ikeja, for treatment.The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni confirmed the arrest and said the suspects would be charged to court at the end of investigations.
