Be patient with President Buhari ' Governor Aregbesola appeals to Nigerians

Published by Lailas Blog on Wed, 17 Aug 2016

Gov. Rauf Aregbesola of Osun, has implored Nigerians to be patient with the Muhammadu Buhari administration in its bid to strengthen the nation's economy.Aregbesola made this appeal while receiving an award of honour from the leadership of the Nigerian Association of Technologists in Engineering (NATE) in Osogbo on Wednesday. The governor, who described change as a gradual process, said what Nigerians needed at present was to support the government in finding a lasting solution to the problems confronting the nation.According to him, while the nation may still be going through serious economic challenges, he is sure that after this period, Nigerians will once again experience a good turn of life.'Change does not come easily; change comes generally with pain and it is this pain that will turn out for good.'There is no doubt that we are going through serious socioeconomic and political challenges and it is my fervent belief that after this period, Nigerians will experience good life, joy and happiness.'I am of the opinion, with strong conviction that after this painful period, glorious era of joy, happiness and prosperity will come.'I appeal to Nigerians to exercise patience with the present government, as the process of change is difficult and usually accompanied with huge pains,' he said.Aregbesola, who lauded the association for the award, assured Nigerians that this process of change would end with succour, abundance, comfort and prosperity.Earlier in his remarks, the NATE Chairman, Dr Daud Abubakar, lauded the State Government for prioritising physical infrastructure development.
