Baking Soda And Bodybuilding

Published by Huffington Post on Thu, 18 Aug 2016

Baking soda has so many uses but who would ever have thought that it would be good for Bodybuilding and Weightlifting'Baking Soda (Bicarbonate) can be used for many things, cleaning floors, polishing silver, deodorizing refrigerators, shower drains, sinks, brushing teeth, gargle, and cleaning laundry. Our bodies are full of acid and the past few years there's been people selling alkaline water to neutralize the acid. The water is expensive and has pretty far fetched claims. I sat thru a seminar on it for a free meal, and after over an hour they said that you could get the same results using lemon in water. I want to add the meal wasn't worth the wait and I sure wasn't going to buy a $5,000 machine to make the water. It's true that adding lemon to water can do the trick. Lemons are not acidic but they are alkaline and not many people know that. Baking soda can do the same. Have you ever poured baking soda and water on your car battery terminals and watch the acid foam up and disappear' This is how it works. If you have an acid stomach a spoonful of baking soda and water will work instantly. It also can be good for bug bites, sunburns and refreshing your breath.Bicarbonate can be found in Veggies and Fruits as well. Apples. raisins, carrots, and more. Now taking 2 teaspoons with water of Baking Soda before your workout can increase your endurance and repetitions as well as get rid of the lactic acid build up in the muscle. Bottom line is it can improve your workouts.Give it a try and see how you like it. I'm certainly going to add it to my supplements.http://ricdrasin.comhttp://ricscorner.com -- This feed and its contents are the property of The Huffington Post, and use is subject to our terms.
