While Syria is embroiled in a violent civil war,millions of civilianshave been displaced, injured, and killed in the crossfire.But perhaps the most staggeringcosts of the war have been borne by Syria's children.8.4 million Syrian children, or approximately 80% of all Syrian children, have been affected by the war.Children, like 5-year-old Omran Daqneesh, have become the face of the nation's struggle.
