Local market operators lobby for proposed MTN listing on NSE

Indication has emerged that some local stockbroking firms have started lobbying to be engaged in the proposed listing of the shares of MTN Nigeria on the floors of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE). Daily Times gathered that local stockbrokers have started working towards becoming part of the Nigerian parties to the offer so as to earn some income, even though the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is still awaiting the formal application from the MTN Group.
