Jeremy Corbyn finally got a seat on a Virgin train following 'traingate

Jeremy Corbyn found a seat on a Virgin carriage today as he returned to the rail operator following the explosive Traingate row.The Labour leader was pictured smiling as he sat next to two children on a service from London Euston to Glasgow thismorning.Twitter user David Rose posted: 'My kids just got on @VirginTrains from Euston to Glasgow with @jeremycorbyn. He has a seat. Good job @richardbranson."Virgin Trains wished Mr Corbyn a "great trip" to Glasgow.The operator tweeted: "Welcome onboard! Hope you all have a great trip to Glasgow this morning ^CB' Virgin Trains (@VirginTrains) August 25, 2016It comes followinga bizarre feud with the operator after Virgin supremo Sir Richard Branson disputed the Labour leader's claim he was unable to find a seat on a 'ram-packed' train earlier this month.Mr Corbyn was filmed sitting on the carriage floor on a service from London to Newcastle saying 'Today this train is completely ram-packed.'However, the company questioned the statement after releasing CCTV images which appeared to show the Labour leader walking past vacant, unreserved seats before he complained on film about the crowded carriages.On Wednesday, Mr Corbyn rebuked reporters for questions about the incident during a bad-tampered press conference where he admitted there were spare seats.He told reporters: 'I did walk through the train. Yes, I did look for two empty seats together so I could sit down with my wife to talk to her.
