The Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) announced these new rules back in June, which clarifies how drones can be used commercially. Experts say that the implementation of these regulations could allow for drones and drone-based services to take off across different industries in the US.The use of drones is set to expand rapidly in the coming years. After implementing these new regulations this month, the FAA is expected to release similar regulations governing commercial drone deliveries in 2018.Drones turned the corner in 2015 to become a popular consumer device, while a framework for regulation that legitimizes drones in the US began to take shape.
