Microsoft Cortana has made its picks for Week 9 of the NFL

Microsoft Cortanaavirtual assistant picking the winner of every NFL game on Bing went 8-4in Week 8,bringing its overall record on the season to 64-54 (54%).Week 8 was Cortana's best week of the season, though still quite a bit worse than we were used to in seasons past. Along with not predicting a tie between the Redskins and Bengals in London (and really, who can blame it), Cortana also missed by picking the Seahawks, Bucs, Colts, and Vikings.Picking the Colts over the Chiefs puzzled us at the time, and the Buccaneers came close to the win. Meanwhile, the Vikings and Seahawks losses were both legitimate upsets.This week, Cortana and Vegas arein complete agreement. Still, we're circling a few games on our calendar: Eagles at Giants (Cortana likes the Giants), Steelers and Ravens (Cortana likes the Ravens), and Broncos at Raiders (Cortana likes the Broncos).As always, Cortana only picks the outright winner of each game. It does not make picks against the spread, though we like to include the point spread (in parentheses, courtesy of Vegas Insider ) for comparison.
