I'm a big fan of Logitech's new Bluetooth computer speaker system

There are four components to this speaker set: Two main stereo speakers, a subwoofer, and a control knob. The control knob has been a mainstay of Logitech speakers for years, and it's a pretty intuitive tool. You can twist it to adjust the volume, and it's where the Bluetooth pairing button and a headphone jack live.Setting these speakers up doesn't take more than a couple of minutes. The subwoofer is powered, and the stereo speakers pug into it. The control knob is built into the subwoofer, so it's just a matter of snaking wires in just the right way to keep them out of sight.Although these are Bluetooth speakers, Logitech does include a standard audio cable if you'd like to have a wired connection to your computer.I opted to stay wireless, and connect to them through Bluetooth. The pairing process was simple; I pushed one button on the control knob and my MacBook Pro instantly recognized the speakers. The connection was solid, and the speakers would recognize my laptop (and vice versa) each time I used them. These speakers sound pretty good, and got better as I adjusted the position of the subwoofer and other speakers. The bass is very rich considering the size of the subwoofer, so low frequencies were covered really well. I found the high-end and midrange a little less compelling, but given the price of these speakers, I'm not very surprised. They sound like a budget set of speakers: good, but not great.Unlike the portable Bluetooth speakers I regularly review, this set is meant for a relatively niche market. I have a desktop computer setup so they fit into my life, and overall I think they're pretty good. They're definitely better than the speakers on my laptop, and since I keep it docked, I've been looking for a computer-speaker solution.Like I said earlier, if you're on a budget, need traditional computer speakers, and want the bonus of them being Bluetooth, Logitech's speakers are a no-brainer.Logitech Bluetooth Wireless 2.1 Speaker System for Computers,$89.21, available at AmazonDON'T MISS:The best Bluetooth speakers for every type of personSEE ALSO:6 things that'll give you a more productive desk setupJoin the conversation about this story
