Conservative MP Anna Soubry contacts the police after receiving 'Jo Cox' death threat tweet

Anna Soubry has contacted police after she received a threat via social media which apparently called for her to be murdered in the same way asJo Cox.The Conservative MP, who has been an outspoken Remain supporter, shared it with her 31,000 followers as she branded the person responsible "a sad cowardly troll."She said she had reported the message to police.The user had said: "Someone Jo Cox Anna Sourby please," as they misspelt the MP's name.Later, Soubry posted a screenshot of the postand said: "This is what has happened to our politics."Tolerance & free speech must prevail."This is what has happened to our politics.
