Just when all hope seemed dashed on the completion of the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, Delta State Government has assured that it would be completed in 2017`. The chairman of Delta State Sports Commission, Chief Tonobok Okowa, who made the revelation in his budget defence before the State House of Assembly Committee on Youths and Sports, said, that there was no politics with the stadium construction. According to him, the delay in execution approach was due to the government efforts to harmonise the various interests involved in the contraction and execution processes.
