Suleja blast; losses, pains and arrestsTwo days after, echoes from the Suleja blasts still reverberate

When Mallam Suleiman Maga urged his son Aminu to accompany him to the PDP rally in Suleja for the Niger State gubernatorial candidates campaign, Babangida Aliyu, he was hoping to go there to show his support to the governor who has elevated his son Aminu. Aminu had just recently won a Quranic recitation contest in the state and the state government had offered him a scholarship to study abroad for emerging one of the winners in the contest. Besides, the old man took his 31-year-old son along with him to the rally so that the educated son would help him make sense of what the politicians will say at the venue. Mallam Suleiman achieved neither goals. Now he is left to mourn the death of his son from died when a bomb that exploded at the venue of the rally.
