These guys really did manage to cram a running shoes' worth of comfort into the classic cap toe silhouette. I liked that they came with treads already on, so they were ready to wear right out of the box. After about a day, they were as comfortable as shoes I've owned for years. I'm interested to see how the sole and leather hold up over time, but right now, if you're a person who has to wear dress shoes and is out at meetings or on your feet a lot, I can't see there being a better pair for comfort. When I was walking around in these, it occurred to me that these are ideal shoes for people who travel for work, as you'd be able to go from running up and down airport concourses right into meetings, without worrying about getting blisters or tired feet.I even tried riding my bike to work in them, and they handled the stop-start city riding with ease.The Closer Cap Toe retails for $345 and is available in three great colors, honey maple (pictured), onyx.Tyler Lauletta, commerce reporterFrom the first time I tried on my Wolf and Shepherd loafers, I was a pretty big fan of the way they looked. It took about a day of wearing them around town before full comfort set in, but once that happened, they quickly jumped to one of my favorite pairs in my closet. I was out for drinks with a friend while wearing them, and we had enough drinks to think walking back home across the Williamsburg bridge was a good idea, and my loafers handled the journey with ease. Business Insider doesnt require me to wear dress shoes every day, but for anyone working in an office with such a policy, I can see a pair or two of Wolf and Shepherd shoes being a great investment. The price might be a bit steep forsome, but if you're wearing them every day, your purchase will pay for itself in comfort in no time. Weddings, family events, interviewsanything that requires me to wear a button-down shirt and sport coat, and Im there. Shoes have always been a bit of an issue though. Dress shoes look nice, but after hours of walking or dancing, your feet feel iteven worse the next day. Immediately after getting them, I put the Wolf & Shepard shoes to the ultimate test: I wore them to a meeting I had with a company a fifteen-minute walk away. Not only do the shoes look great (Ive gotten a few compliments already), but even after wearing them day in and out for a couple of days, my feet havent hurt. The soles have enough padding to almost have a sort of bounce to them. Dont get me wrong, dress shoes will never be "sneakers comfortable."
