The Oklahoma City Thunder are in search of perimeter upgrades at the NBA trade deadline, but they have reportedly halted their pursuit of Denver Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler as 3 p.m. ET on Feb. 23 fast approaches.According toUSA Today's Sam Amick, Oklahoma City "no longer" has Chandler "on its radar."Earlier on Wednesday,Amickreported the Thunder and Los Angeles Clippers were in pursuit of Chandlerwho is actively looking for a change of scenery.Citing two people with knowledge of Chandler's situation,Amickreported on Feb. 2 that Chandler wanted to be dealt because of "of the inconsistency with his role" on a crowded Nuggets roster.To this point in the season, Chandler is averaging a career-high 15.6 points and 6.7 rebounds on 45.4 percent shooting from the field and 33.8 percent shooting from three.Factor in his ability to play as a traditional 3 or small-ball 4, and Chandler should be an attractive chip for contenders in search of additional reinforcements on the wing.One of those teams could be the Houston Rockets.ESPN.com'sChris Haynespreviously mentioned Houston as a team to watch with regard to Chandler, and The Vertical'sAdrian Wojnarowskireported Wednesday that the Rockets are "motivated to make a deal for player in $10-12M salary range."Incidentally, Chandler isearning$11.2 million this season, $12 million next year and $12.8 million in 2018-19, which is the final year of his contract.With a chance to extract some nice value for a plus-scorer on the perimeter who's on a relatively team-friendly deal, the Nuggets should be able to field solid offers if they do ramp up their efforts to move Chandler over the next 20 hours.
