Big dance for AAAN at 40

TO mark its 40th anniversary, the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) has lined up series of activities that would stretch 60 days. Speaking on AAAN at 40 celebration, in Lagos last week, the President of the association, Mrs Bunmi Oke, said that the 40th anniversary logo would be unveiled Thursday, May 9. She listed other programmes to include the 40th anniversary dinner, AGM cum congress, agencies funfair.According to her, the association also hopes to use the celebration to engage government at all levels through Corporate Social Responsibility projects.'In the immediate, the association is planning to develop a CSR campaign for the Federal Government, Lagos State Government and the Ogun State Government.'In line with the clarion call by the different tiers of governments to include women leaders at all levels, a special 40th anniversary delegation of Women in Advertising to be led by Mrs Yinka Ogunde, the Chairperson of AAAN Women in Advertising Committee will accompany the President of AAAN to arouse awareness for our profession to some of the pet projects of the first lady of Ogun State,' said Oke.
