Nice striker Mario Balotelli has revealed he will not take part in future interviews after the way in which his recent views were covered in the press.As reported by ESPN FC, the Italy striker recently spoke with French radio broadcaster RMC. In the interview Balotelli spoke about racism, his career and his return to the national team, although a prominent line that emerged was his opinion that Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani "is a great player but not a phenomenon," per Alex Martin of the MailOnline.The former Liverpool and Manchester City striker was unhappy with the way in which this was portrayed in the press, taking to Instagram to post the following:"I spoke about amazing young players, I spoke about racism, I spoke about Italy, all those newspaper could get was about the Cavani story," he said.Balotelli went on to say "seriously don't ask me for interviews again...no one."The striker made the switch to Nice in the summer with a view to getting his stuttering career back on track again, having failed to find his best at Liverpool or in a loan spell at Milan.While hes been sent off three times in Ligue 1 matches, there have been some positive moments for the 26-year-old, as hes found the net 10 times in 16 appearances for the club. Here are some of his best goals so far:In the initial interview with RMC (h/t Ian Holyman of ESPN FC), Balotelli made reference to the racist abuse hes been subject to during his time in France, making reference to a game at Bastia in January in which he was targeted."I could have said nothing and gone home," he said. "But that's not fair. Because it's not fair for the others who are not like me and who don't have the chance to express themselves."However, he refused to discuss his time at Anfield, where he only scored one Premier League goal in his debut season and was shipped out to Milan on loan during the 2015-16 campaign. "Don't speak to me about Liverpool please," he said, as relayed by Martin.
