Coach Abubakar Bala of Niger Tornadoes Football Clubsays he will have to find a solution to his team conceding last-minute goals during their Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matches.Bala, who spoke to newsmen on Monday in Minna, said their 1-2 loss to Shooting Stars (3SC) on Sunday in Ibadan was caused by their failure not to hold on.The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Niger Tornadoes, who still occupy the fourth position in the ongoing 2016/2017 NPFL had drawn level in the games 75th minute.But they failed to hold on as the hosts restored their lead some minutes later to win 2-1.I have to quickly make corrections to this problem of late conceding of goals by my players.I have to correct the situation where we concede a late goal. This is becoming a tradition.We conceded at home against Sunshine Stars of Akure and also did same with Lobi Stars of Makurdi. I have to find a solution to this problem, Bala said.The coach also blamed his sides 2-1 defeat by 3SC to the inability of the team to convert the few goal scoring chances they created, especially in the first half.If they had utilised their chances, it would have been a different story right now, he said.NAN reports that Niger Tornadoes will host Kano Pillars on Sunday at the Confluence Stadium in Lokoja, their temporary home ground, in a week 19 fixture.(NAN)
