Barcelona legend Xavi believes Juventus forward Paulo Dybala is "ready to play" for his old club, amid reports the Argentinian attacker will be the Blaugrana's top transfer target this summer.Former Barca midfield great Xavi told Spanish publication Marca(h/t MailOnline's Ben Grounds) how well Dybala would fit at the Camp Nou: "Dybala would fit in perfectly at Barcelona if you look at the other players there. He has a lot of talent and is capable of playing for any big team. He is a natural who plays at a high level and is still young. He is ready to play for Barcelona."Ironically, Barca don't need to take Xavi's word for it. They already know how good Dybala is after the 23-year-old destroyed the Blaugrana during Juventus' 3-0 win in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg on Tuesday.Dybala bagged a first-half brace as part of a match-winning display that announced him as a major star. Squawka Football summed up how devastating Dybala was in Turin:It's little wonder Barcelona are so keen on the versatile South American forward. In fact, Grounds' report also noted how "Dybala is tipped to be Barcelona's chief transfer target this summer as the club look for a marquee signing to rival Real Madrid on the domestic front, and the former Palermo man is expected to make a big-money move."Before the match against one of his suitors, Dybala sought to play down rumours linking him with La Liga rivals Barca and Real Madrid, as well as prospective Premier League champions Chelsea. The player told Italian source La Reppublica (h/t Stuart Ballard of the Daily Express): "I do not know the future, so many things can happen.I am happy, my teammates wish me well, as do the fans and the club. At the moment I'm fine here."There is no doubt Dybala would suit a club like Barca. After all, the Juve ace is a technically gifted attacker capable of playing anywhere along the forward line.Dybala has operated as a central striker, a wide forward and a No. 10 during his career with both Palermo and the Bianconeri. Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has added tactical flexibility to Dybala's game this season by constructing a fluid front four around his talents.Allegri has even moved target man Mario Mandzukic out wide to accommodate Dybala through the middle.Dybala boasts the flair and ingenuity to dovetail brilliantly with Barca strikers Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, should he eventually move to Spain. It's also obvious Dybala is improving to the point where he can boss games against top clubs at the highest level. He proved as much against Barcelona, the club who need him most and would likely get the best out of a player set to become one of the sport's biggest stars in the near future.
