Cavaliers Reportedly Signing Edy Tavares to Contract, Cutting Larry Sanders

The Cleveland Cavaliers reportedly released center Larry Sanders on Tuesday, according to The Vertical's Shams Charania and Cleveland.com's Joe Vardon.Charania reported the Cavaliers plan to sign free-agent center Edy Tavares to a multi-year deal Wednesday to fill Sanders' spot on the roster.Sanders, who wassignedon March 13, appeared in five games for a total of 13 minutes. During that stretch, he scored four points and grabbed four rebounds.
