Romelu Lukaku, Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero all scored on Saturday to keep pace in the race for the Premier League's golden boot.Lukaku remains the division's top scorer after helping Everton beat Burnley at Goodison Park. The Belgian took to the pitch after Kane's goal on his first start since injury aided in Tottenham Hotspur's 4-0 trouncing of Bournemouth at White Hart Lane.Spurs stay second but have closed the gap on leaders Chelsea to just four points ahead of the Blues' game against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.United's neighbours Manchester City won't win the title this season, but Aguero and Co. have gone above Liverpool into third after an impressive win over Southampton. Aguero scored the final goal to cap a display of thrillingly attractive football at St. Mary's Stadium. Here are the final scores from Saturday's matches:Here's what those results mean for the updated table:Here are the division's top scorers:RecapSergio Aguero initially struggled to keep pace with Lukaku and Kane in the scoring charts despite having three excellent chances in the first half at Southampton. Yet the Argentinian uncharacteristically failed to get any of the attempts on target. When City's goal did come, it came from an unlikely source in the form of Vincent Kompany. The oft-injured skipper met a David Silva corner with a thumping header 10 minutes after the break. As OptaJoe pointed out, Kompany has had a long wait for a goal in England's top flight:Aguero continued to toil up front but often found himself frustrated by former Plymouth Argyle defender Jack Stephens. The Saints signed Stephens for a mere 150,000 in 2011, but the 23-year-old proved more than up to the task of handling a striker of Aguero's quality.Even so, City didn't need Aguero to wrap up the points. Their second goal came when Kevin De Bruyne and Silva combined brilliantly on the break to eventually tee up Leroy Sane for a tap-in.Aguero finally got his goal when he headed in De Bruyne's cross after the latter had been played in by Jesus Navas. WhoScored.com pointed how often Aguero has found joy on his travels this season:Lukaku's goal sealed a win that took Everton above Arsenal and United into fifth place.Lukaku completed his club's comeback after Phil Jagielka and Ross Barkley had scored either side of a Sam Vokes penalty for Burnley. The Toffees may have played three games more than the Gunners and United, but with Lukaku in such prolific form, the Merseyside club could stay fifth for a while. The powerhouse striker opened a four-goal lead in the race for the Golden boot after being teed up by left-back Leighton Baines. In the process, Belgium international Lukaku drew level with a free-scoring Premier League icon, according to Squawka Football:One of the main reasons Lukaku has been able to match Ronaldo's feat has been his fondness for scoring at home. Another goal at Goodison Park meant Lukaku reached the same distinction held by an Everton legend for over 80 years, per Sky Sports Statto:Everton may ultimately miss out on a top-four finish, but Lukaku now looks like a lock to finish as the division's top scorer this season. His closest rival is Kane, who announced his return in fine style after netting Tottenham's third in a routine hammering of the Cherries. Kane's goal followed finishes from Mousa Dembele and Heung-Min Son.The latter has been in spectacular form in the final third recently:However, the plaudits naturally belonged to Kane after the brilliant No. 10 joined some feared marksmen in the Premier League annals:Substitute Vincent Janssen netted his first league goal from open play to wrap up the scoring and underline Spurs' dominance.Kane's return is hugely significant for a team closing the gap in the title race. Tottenham's main man up front can play with his back to goal, link well with others, spin in behind and work the channels.Kane can also get goals in bunches. It's a trait that could still power Spurs to overhauling Chelsea's lead at the top for good.Last season's champions Leicester found themselves pegged back from 2-0 up by Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. Things looked good for the Foxes when centre-back Robert Huth and striker Jamie Vardy scored. The latter has taken his time to get going this season but is now firmly back among the goals:Vardy had Leicester in complete control until Yohan Cabaye got one back for Palace less than 10 minutes into the second half. The hosts completed the comeback when Christian Benteke equalised 16 minutes later.Belgian target man Benteke isn't always the most consistent, but he's close to unplayable when on form. He's also finding his touch in front of goal again, per OptaJoe:Elsewhere, Stoke City kept Hull City in the thick of relegation jeopardy thanks to goals from Marko Arnautovic, Peter Crouch and Xherdan Shaqiri at the bet365 Stadium. Crouch and Shaqiri both delivered spectacular strikes to down the Tigers, who could only manage a goal from centre-back Harry Maguire.Despite the loss, Maguire and Hull remain above the bottom three thanks to Swansea City's defeat at Watford. A goal from midfield man Etienne Capoue separated the sides.Capoue started the season scoring regularly, but it's been a while since the Frenchman has found the net in England's top flight, according to BBC's Match of the Day:Sunderland remain rooted to the foot of the table after being held to a 2-2 draw at home by West Ham United. Things didn't start well for the hosts, who fell behind to an Andre Ayew goal after five minutes.Yet Sunderland were level when winger Wahbi Khazri leveled the scoring in spectacular fashion:The Hammers rallied, though, going in front thanks to James Collins two minutes after the break. Sunderland appeared doomed until substitute Fabio Borini took advantage of a gaffe from West Ham goalkeeper Darren Randolph to snatch a point in stoppage time. The comeback was creditable, but Sunderland still look set for the drop at nine points adrift of safety. At the other end, Spurs are making the title race closer than many would have predicted a month ago. Their battle with Chelsea will be just as intriguing as Kane's attempt to chase down free-scoring Lukaku for the golden boot.Read more World Football news on BleacherReport.com
