Lagos Auto Crash Kills 7

No fewer than seven persons were confirmed dead in two separate accidents that occurred around Barracks area and Gbagada Bus Stop, around Anthony area of Lagos state.While five persons died in the incident around Barrack area, two died in that which occurred around Anthony area.It was gathered that the incident which consumed five persons occurred at about 6.44 p.m. when a vehicle caught fire at Stadium Bridge, around Barracks area of the state.A commercial Volkswagen bus (danfo) with registration number AND 996 XC caught fire as it descended the bridge.The Lagos emergency agency said five persons, including a child, three women and a man, were burnt beyond recognition and were recovered from the bus.LASEMA, however, said five other people were also rescued and rushed to the hospital with severe burns While the auto crash that occurred at Gbagada Bus Stop, around Anthony area of Lagos state claimed the lives of two persons.Sources said the tragedy which occurred around 3pm, struck when a Volkswagen commercial bus with registration number GGE716XM had a head on collision with another vehicle, identified as a taxi.
