5-Star SF Kevin Knox Sets In-Home Visits with Kentucky, Duke, FSU and Missouri

Highly touted small forward recruit Kevin Knox has set up in-home visits with four top schools this week.According to Evan Daniels of Scout.com, Knox will meet with the Florida State Seminoles and Kentucky Wildcats on Tuesday night before hosting the Missouri Tigers and Duke Blue Devils on Wednesday.Per Scout, Knox is a 5-star prospect who is the No. 7 overall player and No. 2 small forward in the 2017 class.Knox has also visited North Carolina, but the Tar Heels aren't scheduled for an in-home visit, according to Daniels.PerBob Putnamof theTampa Bay Times, Knox turned down a $1.4 million offer to play professionally in China last month.While college is his preferred route, Knox told Putnam his goal is to play one year before entering the NBA draft:"That's written on my bedroom wall, to be a one-and-done. A lot of people project that I'll do that. But it's not done yet. I still have to work hard for it."At 6'8" and 205 pounds, Knox already has the type of length that will make him difficult for opposing defenders to handle at the college level.Both Kentucky and Duke have proved effective at utilizing one-and-done talent in recent years and setting them up for success in the draft.Florida State and Mizzou are dark horses in that regard, but landing a player of Knox's caliber could go a long way toward making them threats in 2017-18.
