B'Haram: FG places 1,000 orphans in foster care

No fewer than 1,000 children who lost their parents to Boko Haram's insurgency in the North-East have been placed on the Foster Care Programme of Victims Support Fund (VSF). Under the programme, the orphaned children are put in the care of responsible families with the payment of N14,000 monthly to them for each child in order to provide health, education and other essentials for the children.
