Here's Apple's full application to test out self-driving cars (AAPL)

Apple got its permit to test self-driving cars in California earlier this month, and now you can read the full paperwork it had to file.It's a rare glimpse into Apple's processes ' the documents tell us that the company has registered three Lexus RX450h SUVs for testing, and that the drivers must pass seven tests before they're considered fully trained. Apple has never really talked about its self-driving car programme.Business Insider has seen Apple's trainingdocuments and posted a full analysis, but the full upload comes courtesy of AppleInsider, and you can read the permit below. AppleInsider has redacted some sensitive details like vehicle registration numbers.The first couple of pages give us details about how Apple will test out its self-driving cars. According to the application, there must always be drivers in the driving seat, and they need to be prepared to take control of the vehicle at any point during testing.We then learn that the application was filed by Steve Kenner, Apple's director of product integrity and a car industry veteran.
