LONDON ' In 2011, then-Prime Minister David Cameron launched "Startup Britain" ' a campaign to highlight, promote, and support entrepreneurs in the UK.It's a gimmicky name ' but it reflects the reality that large numbers of Brits are choosing to start businesses and become entrepreneurs, with 80 companies created an hour in 2016.Underpinning much of this trend is a legion of hundreds of thousands of developers across the British Isles, coding apps and powering internet-fueled businesses.
