Trump is trying to win over Democrats to his massive tax cut plan

The large tax plan set to be introduced by President Donald Trump on Wednesday is expected to include some provisions that will try and get Democrats on board with the proposal.Politico's Nancy Cook and Ben White reported on Tuesday that the tax proposal, which will likely be broad outlines, will likely includeprovisions for infrastructure spending and a tax credit for childcare.Both of the ideas are broadly supported by Democrats and have been a part of Trump's platform for some time. Democrats even came forward with aninfrastructure plan in January, and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has said he is ready to workwith Trump on infrastructure.In practice, however, Democrats pushedback on Trump's infrastructure plan from the campaign, which would include $1 trillion in infrastructure spending in a joint private-public effort.
