Ease of doing business: Customs to eradicate delays at ports

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has reiterated its commitment to trade facilitation at the nation's ports and all entry points in line with government's ease of doing business agenda, saying it aims to eradicate delays associated with imports and exports at Nigerian seaports and other approved entry points. To this end, Customs will now schedule and coordinate the Mandatory Joint Examinations and Sign-off Form to ensure that there is only one point of contact between importers and officials.
