A designer sent models down the runway wearing thigh-high Ugg boots ' and people are horrified

On Wednesday, designerY/Project revealed a collaboration with Ugg during a Paris Men's Fashion Week Show.The footwear collab includes thigh-high, knee-high, mid-calf, and sandal-like variations of the boots.People don't know what to make of the boots.Men's Fashion Week started in Paris, France, on Wednesday ' and things have already taken an unexpected turn.People can't stop talking about a pair of thigh-highUgg boots that Y/Project debuted during a runway show on Wednesday.Glenn Martens, the brand's creative director, explained the inspiration behind the surprising collaborationto Vogue."Putting on Uggs is like putting your foot in a warm pot of butter, and I thought why not elevate that and immerse your full legs!" Martens said. "So we decided to design an Ugg boot that climbs up to the crotch and covers the whole leg."In addition to the thigh-high option, it appears that there are also knee-high, mid-calf, and sandal-like variations of the shoes.People took to Twitter to talk about the shoes.Huffington Post blogger Sidonie Sawyer slammed the boots. When they hit shelves, the bootswill reportedly cost between $270 and $1,380, according to Popsugar.And while this is the strangest thing we've seen out of Fashion Week so far, there's likely more to come.
